It looks like we’re going to have a really nice week on our hands.  I’ve got some great new menu items in store which I think you will all really like.  We’ve got our last One Pot Meals Cooking Class for the month of October tomorrow from 6:30-8:30pm.  I have 3 spots left in the class if you would like to learn the fundamentals of One Pot Meals and several techniques and dishes to create endless meals at home. The menu for the class will be Braised Pork Shoulder with Cabbage & Apples in a Cider Sherry Broth, Roasted Chicken Chili with Fall Veggies and Smoked Peppers, and Butternut Squash Bisque with Spiced Apples and Pumpkin Seed. For the upcoming holidays, Roots will be working with Poultry Junction to offer local turkeys for $4.50 lb.  Poultry Junction’s turkeys are Free Range and raised Gluten Free with a diet of lettuce, tomatoes, brown rice, worms and crickets. Even the worms and crickets are grown on their own farm.  To order a turkey for Thanksgiving please have your order in by November 5th. Delivery will be on November 16th and 21st.
